Yes it’s not super dramatic but considering how non invasive MSE is and that it’s all ur bone, this is impressive and unless u already have a broad palate there’s no reason not to.

I love MSE except for the diastemas you get, (yes ik they close it but u have to walk around with a big ass homeless FOB gap for months) but my real beef with MSE is despite the positive airway changes it widens your nostrils and alars like crazy, sub suharan tier nose which I don't want. So how can I mitigate this from happening with MSE expansion?

If anything my nose looks better. There might be a very slight widening, but my nose was narrow to begin with. Maybe a maxillofacial surgeon could do an alar cinch after the suture separates? I've never heard of anyone having this done since the change is typically very subtle.

hmm? How much did u expand? I want to expand 10mm at least hence why I'm even the more worried and my nose is already boderline wide

Problem is its only widening zygos for 1-2 mm while widening palate 7mm, so you end up with an even less chance of hollow cheeks. MSE is a health procedure, and aesthetic only for teeth.

I have a 10mm MSE and expanded all the way.

so u expanded 10mm or 12mm?

What aesthetic changes did u notice?

What did u do post expansion for your occlusion?

I expanded 10mm, but some of that always goes to tilting TADs and molars. I've written more details about the results in my thread about alternating expansion and contraction. @MentalistKebab is right that any aesthetic soft tissue changes are subtle. My smile is obviously wider. I think my midface looks slightly fuller, but it's not obvious on before/after images. It's definitely easier to correctly posture my head and tongue, and my breathing is improved, which was my main goal. We're bringing my bite back together with clear aligners.
