Football hooliganism rose was a mainly 90s thing I heard. It was done because of britain getting fucked so hard in 2 world wars, rationing even longer than the germans who "lost" the war, losing their empire, losing their economy, and thatcher dismantling industry for a more office type economy. Then the government began bringing in migrants causing hypercompetition in those jobs.

Instead of being patient with letting those jobs fill up over time, the government wanted shot and easy solution to grow the economy so under the Blair government began bringing in a lot of immigrants, mainly from east europe initially. Which btw despite my dad in the 90s working in the UK for some time in the 90s and returning home, there was obviously a sentiment against them because they were taking their jobs, and unlike America whites arent from all type of backgrounds, in the UK like 90% of whites were all british so they stuck out like sore thumbs. However the hate has basically subsided for them in recent years, since they aren't "taking jobs" anymore, and they cant be distinguished from brits anymore because they have the same accent. Basic privileges? I think u mean rights cuz a privilege is means ur treated above others. Then again whether its in Zimbabwe, America. DEI is often based on race, not income class. As blacks used to have worser track records of crime, had shittier grades often, they were declined from work. Because of that some democratic and republican politicians made it so the blacks can not be declined jobs at times, or had special priviliges to be hired to fix this inbalance.
