Certain concepts might have merit but psych as a profession is a joke. My ex graduated with a psych degree and wanted to become a psychologist (don’t know if she did) and not only was she a bitch but she had no grasp over her own emotions or those of others. It really opened my eyes that the “doctors” giving vulnerable people pointless advice likely have no idea what they’re talking about and are messes themselves.
