and not even just in cases where a kid starts mouthbreathing

seems like a lot start developing dorsal humps, begin downward growth in preteen-early teen years. a lot of kids with nosebreather pheno get a mouthbreather pheno regardless of tongue posture and breathing habits. maybe has something to do with particular hormonal profiles on particular originary facial structures? not necessarily more or less T or E but just particular combos. idk

Maybe it's just me but I haven't noticed a single dorsal dump except in photos.
If you're talking to me normally, I don't even look at your nose at all.

yeah honestly in and of itself it doesnt do that much unless its extreme, although it is typically a symptom of maxillary recession at least in whites
