I put 32 PDO threads in my face earlier to stimulate collagen production, hoping to make my skin tighter in some areas, fix my eyebags, and add a little bit of mass to my zygos.
This is a diagram of my thread placement:
I used PDO screws for everything except for my jaw area, where I used straights/monos. This is because using screws on your jaw will make it less defined, while using monos will tighten the skin, creating a (hopefully) better jawline.
I used 6 screws for each zygo to add a bit of mass and create more prominent zygomatic arch.
I also used 3 screws under my eyes to fix my eyebags which are pretty dark and sunken. I've had them since I was a kid, so they're genetic. The added mass may also act as orbital support and help with my slight UEE, but we'll see.
This part was pretty scary. I can still feel the needles wriggling under my eyebag skin right now hahaha.
I didn't take any pics, but I also put two screws under each eyebrow to pull them down a bit and imitate an upper-eyelid area fat graft. This was the scariest area of all, as I kept getting pretty close to my eyeball with the needle. Would not recommend unless you've got a few "screws" loose hahah.
I was intending to do my chin area as well to make it more prominent but it hurt like hell. Live to fight another day.
Thanks again to @Orc for the inspiration, please let me know what you think of my thread placement and maybe give me some tips. I'm planning to add some more zygo/eye support next week based on the progress and also do my ramus area. Hopefully I can find a way to do the chin without it hurting too bad as well.
