You'll often see normies, people online, and even people on this site arguing that 5.1", 5.5" BPEL is average because of muh studies.
Sadly, it's so insanely wrong. Average is somewhere between 6-7" BPEL. Whether that means it is 6.3", 6.5" or even above, I'm not sure. But true average is somewhere in that range. Basically, average NBPEL is 5.5"
Let's start with some basic terminology. BPEL = bone pressed erect length, NBPEL = non-bone pressed erect length, EG = erect girth (midshaft girth), PE = penis enlargement. 7"x5" means 7" length and 5" girth. I'll spesify whether the length is NBPEL or BPEL.
Ok now, let me build my case. First we're gonna look at self-reported studies, then actual studies, and I'm going to be using straight logic and reasoning inbetween. Please don't disregard the self-reported ones before I've built my case. I know there's a tendency to just disregard them and have low-trust of them. But I'll show you why they're legit and why I've included them.
Self-reported: Most studies claim 6.5" being average BPEL. Every poll agrees. Every internet poll ever done online gets the same exact result. This has been the case on any forum I've ever been on throughout the years. Are all these guys lying, or are they being honest?
There was a study done over at Thunders(a PE forum) with over 20k participants, pre PE length was 6.5", girth 5". Everyone knew how to measure properly, and there's no reason to lie as it was anonymous. In fact, people tend to underexaggerate their starting length on sites like that, because they're so desperate to believe in PE, and so desperate to see "gains".
If they lie, then the entire thing is just a lie. Will also take longer to see "gains". A lot of people do in fact underexaggerate their starting length, so that they can claim gains and stay motivated. A lot of the older members would also underexaggerate their starting length to then brag about how much they've gained. Oftne, you'll see people say "hey guys, I just gained 0.25", this is legit". Not realizing that he didn't gain jackshit, he just underexaggerated his starting length, and had an abnormally good erection that day. If you're 6.3" and then fraud to 6.5", it's just gonna take you so much longer to see gains. It's better to be honest with yourself from the start.
Still unsure? Still don't believe 6.5" is average? Well, let me make my case even stronger. If 6.5" is average BPEL, that would imply the average NBPEL is 5.5" (most people have about an inch fatpad). If we now were to believe that 5.5" BPEL is average (which seems like some people believe), then that would imply that 4-4.5" is average NBPEL. HAVING A 4 INCH DICK IS NOT NORMAL, NOR AVERAGE. GET THAT OUT OF YOUR THICK SKULL IMMEDIATELY.
The actual studies: You sitting at home and measuring your MAX erection, after edging for 20 minutes, using the position that gives you the biggest length and concluding it's 7" is not even remotely close to the same as the guys who go and get measured up IRL. It's so insanely different. They can't even get properly hard when the measurements are done. The measurements are done while lying on their back (gravity is working against them they also aren't properly hard). The ruler isn't sufficiently being showed into the bone, so it's basically NBPEL measurements. Lack of erection hardness also effect girth and length a lot.
Don't even get me started on the flaccid stretches studies. They're all done NBPEL. Average stretched length is also significantly shorter than average erect length. If you read a study and the average length of the study was 5" non bone pressed stretched flaccid length. Then no offense. That is LITERALLY 6.5" dick. It LITERALLY just is. Add in the 1" fatpad, and then add in 0.5" (or maybe even more) reduction from it being flaccid stretched vs erect length.
IF you're sitting at home and measuring your dick and getting 5.7" BPEL. You're literally below average, you just are. It's really that simple. Other people who know how to do it are sitting at home and DOING the EXACT same thing and getting 6-7". Next time a study is being conducted, go and get measured up and participate in the study. I'll gurantee you'd be in for a reality check when they write up your size that they put in the study. You will be SHOCKED.
Another point maybe worth arguing (probably not). But the average dick size of the average sex-haver is even bigger. Keep in mind, 40% of men don't even get laid yearly. People who seek out PE forums etc, might be a little smaller than average (probably not because of the large sample sizes), but there's reasons to believe at the tails it's way more skewed towards the lower end (way more small people than big people).
