Question about MSE

If I already had bimax done (for sleep apnea), would MSE be able to cause any changes to my cranial base? There have been results showing changes to the zygomatic structure and cranial base for MSE patients, but I fear that the "cut line" used for the Lefort 1 osteotomy might act as a stress concentrator and therefore disperse the transmission of stresses that causes bone remodeling in the zygoma and cranial base in this case...?

That sounds like a good idea, but then I'd have to spend more money. I was hoping that somebody here might have some ideas about this.

@RealSurgerymax do you have any relevant knowledge? For example, for patients that have previously had facial fractures, is their response to osteotomies or MSE different in any way?

After a year, you can have MSE which will still give you upper expansion, close to if you never had a LeFort I.

As far as cranial base goes, MSE causes minimal changes to cranial base and that will probably be diminished further after MSE because a LeFort I requires a disconnection from the cranial base through a Pterygoid Osteotomy.
