Question about MT1:

I'm currently taking a topical retinoid cream (Aklief) against my acne, I can't be in the sun for too long since it makes my skin sensitive. I still want a nice tan for the summer, so I'm thinking about using MT1. I don't know if I'm being retarded about this, and I should look further into MT1. I'd appreciate a helpful answer.
