How much would you spend on your daughters 15 birthday? Would you even have one for her and invest it into a 529 Account or something else?

Nah i agree waste of money, but its tradition similar to why do you have a wedding and not just sign a contract.

upon further inspection, I notice these girls live in low class homes, often with multiple sisters....imagine every 2-4 years having to drop 20K to satisfy your teenage daughters naturally massive ego
