Is it the sodium alone that causes bloat or the sodium:potassium ratio? Like if you are an active guy and go to the gym, you will also be consuming a good amount of sodium if you want to gain weight. Can this be countered by an even higher potassium intake?

as long you follow a healthy diet with no junk food, supplementing salt is essential since rise, pasta and fresh meat don't contain naturally salt

Stop overthinking this, it’s salt (non natural salt, like rock salt).
