it's not related with maxilla. you basically "fold" your mouth while strethching. it's the sacrifice of having wide lips.

widen your mouth and then get filler for nasolabial fold.

You have to keep doing it for 3 months after you reach your desired width after which it becomes permanent

I might try widening with those dental cheek retractor things seems like it might work
