[Question] have any of you ever heard of developing cowlicks on your hair well into your teens?

nobody has ever even heard of such a thing but my hair was long until i was 15 when i developed a fucking COWLICK on the side of my head. the hair on the side of my head bends upwards at like a 30 degree angle. using an iron never helped. even when it's short now my side hair is asymmetrical, it stands up there.
