Question on braces

I have a overbite and i have been jutting for 2 years straight, with good results since no one can see my ugly sub 5 overbite. I will get braces soon and i was wondering if i should do it with elastics or not, or how i should do it

Ik what you mean, but sometimes orthodontist recommend using only braces which will pull or inferior teeth to an angle that gives me good teeth but i stay recessed

ask him about his opinion on how the braces affect aesthetics and if theres a way to improve them

if he refuses to answer for some reason just do more research
