Ok, so I’m currently working on a large and research heavy thread about 5ar (5 alpha reductase). I’ve mostly finished the general information: synthesis, use, inhibition, sequence, versions, how to max it, etc. but I wanted to see if the community had any specific questions before I got past the rough draft stage. So:

What questions do you have about 5ar? They can be simple, complex, well-known, or obscure, I don’t care. I want to make a thread that is actually useful for those in our community, so I figured I would fish for questions IN the community.

You probably stole most of things from me thread, greycel

booooriiinggggggg

its already a well studied enzyme with abundant research accessible online, why tf would anyone ask a retard on org about it

The fact that you think that DHT is not a good thing shows we have VASTLY different perspectives on DHT and on 5ar optimization. I’ve never even read/seen your thread until you replied. “Muh balding” get out of here. People have literally used it as a PED for years. You can’t just say “erm actually it has zero effect because x study” when all imperial evidence outside of cuck-pharma medical journals says “DHT = more gainz”. Balding has also been seen in people with all kinds of levels of DHT, and all kinds of levels of androgen sensitivity. Most studies about DHT and baldness have a confirmation bias behind them and see correlation as causation, even though one doesn’t necessitate the other. If you want more DHT, then you need to have higher 5ar. Do you know which one of the three is best? What about its amino acid sequence? What produces 5ar? What inhibits it? What binds with it? How can you reduce that? These are all questions that some of the non-retards on the forum might want answers to. This thread isn’t made for you anti-DHT propaganda chuds. This isn’t a thread that’s meant to appeal to people like you, but you just had to say something. At this point you’re either ACTUALLY retarded or a troll. Either way, piss off.

Cuz a lot of the information is spread far and wide, and a lot of the REALLY specific information is buried in some obscure studies, so asking a question here and having a compilation of information collected all in one place could be useful for some. If it’s not useful for you that’s fine, just ignore it, but some people might actually find some gain from a thread like the one I’m writing. I don’t mean to be an ass, I’m just saying, there’s more than one perspective on this.

So you are anti science?

Once balding has started inflammation which draws DHT to park itself there is the biggest issue. The lasting inflammation leads to calcification, fibrosis and blood flow issues etc making DHT do it's magic due to the environment that was created. It's the big reason why the head shapes with more mechanical tension are the ones much more likely to bald. If you don't want to screw up your sex hormones the best thing you can do is hard head massages daily to reduce it some and dermaroll hard pressure every 2 weeks with a 1.5 mm to break fibrosis and calcification up. If you pay attention the fewer people that do bald with box type head shapes that resist balding more usually have calcium deposit ridges in their crown area that set the inflammation Norwood reaper death spiral off for them. As far as natural 5ar inhibitors Taurine at a few grams a day will help a little but isn't a big game changer if you don't reduce inflammation a lot also.

Psuedoscience , this theory is already debunked

BS the DHT starts it theory has no science backing it. Find me the studies showing DHT sets up shop with the follicles before inflammation etc. There aren't any - just guesses in papers with no science behind them. There is a reason those dome shaped heads bald at much higher rates than box shapes and extreme larger dome ones almost guarantee baldness. It's because DHT does its magic after the conditions are set up by the mechanical stress and inflammation etc. Their claim that some people just are more prone to DHT doing it by genetics has no science backing it and has crap anecdotal evidence also. The few studies showing genes more likely to bald don't tell whether that is affecting inflammation levels or what they are doing.
