He is both skilled and has the morals very few surgeons has. I am happy he is going so viral. He truly is one of a kind. I am not being sarcastic in any way here. As a guy who have done surgery with him i can say he is extremly nice all the time and cares about you thru out the whole process.

But he is not a gaslighter in his morals, he is honest in what he does. The reason why i went to him was the stories that he seemed to care even if things didnt went exactly the way it was suppose too. Some surgeons might have skill but if something goes wrong your done for. Ram is in my eyes the goat because of this.

Thanks @Gaia262 and @Lordmadness for sharing the stories on this guy so i could follow the path aswell.

And i recommend ramieri to everyone here, i know even i have thought about not over praising ram here so he gets even more traction but to be honest i have nothing bad to say about ram apart from he might not be a risk taker which is obv extremly good and also bad if you need risk to ascend hard.(But then you need a sociopath like pag or something)

Ramieris results never look right to me. It always looks like it could have been done better. I think he under advanced many if not majority of his patients.

Then he uses his favorite jaw implant to create the illusion of a good Trimax result.

His most recent case:
I tried to remove the jaw implant as much as my photoshop skills allowed and rotated the image.

I mean how can you compare the best result from like 30 years to ram who just uploads everything he is able to upload from patients who actually allow it. But yea i agree to some degree that raffaini will do more in his surgeries and even ram does think raff is one of if not the best bimax surgeon. But nitpicking bimax result is kinda stupid because it depends on base very much and also the plan and execution is never 1 to 1 from any surgeon.

I agree but this is why Raffaini is double the price that Ramieri charges. If you dont have a really complex case and are on a low budget, Ramieri is your best bet. But if money is not an option you should go with Raffaini imo (if you are europian)

Infras will always look better + fat graft. Fat graft is saves very few in the infra department. Laser saves more than fat graft would, because that will deal with the discoloring most people refer to when they say dark circles

I think maybe if you have neutral vector you can do just fat and it will be decent. But trying to jump from negative to positive with only fat will be a meme.

It’s very telling that you’re writing this only now, and only after I went public about how much damage he caused in my life. You didn’t feel the need to defend him 1 week ago. Before that other surgeon were “better alternatives”.

Genuine question, how are you? Procrastination is a thing, I think you need professional help, maybe your case didn’t go as you’ve hoped.

You describe him as kind, caring, and moral, of course he is when everything goes according to plan for him and he’s being paid. You haven’t seen how he acts when things doesn’t go well for the patient(me).

I went to Rome afterwards to meet him and trie to explain how bad my breathing had become afterwards. He got angry, very angry and started to gaslight the shit out of me. The whole experience was BIZARRE and I’m not the first one who experience this with him.

The real test of character is how they act when things go wrong for the patient.

Link ONE just one of the stories you say were he seemed to have soooo good morals and really cared for the patient. Changing your opinion this fast is a sign of mentally illness, I’ve litteraly described how he didn’t care at all about my breathing problems.

I also have to seriously question whether you’ve even had surgery with him at all. This seems to go beyond marketing than a patient’s reflection. Especially considering that just a week or two ago you were openly saying that Ramieri wasn’t that good. Now suddenly he’s the “GOAT”? That flip is ridiculous and I sincerely hope people think twice before listening to your advice.

Funny how you can clearly see a pattern the same people always showing up to support him and comment on your threads. Almost always the same names, fooling insecure kids, You must feel great about that.

I looked at your recent history, you are bipolar asf. Get help before your maniac episodes go too far.

You’re confidently mocking something you clearly don’t understand, which is kind of impressive in its own way. Sort of shows how limited your brain capacity is.

Tongue posture directly affects airway size the tongue is attached to the hyoid and surrounding muscles, so when it sits low or collapses backward it narrows the upper airway and restricts nasal breathing. Elevating it forward literally change airflow.

Unfortunately you’re too close-minded and quite frankly stupid to understand this.

This isn’t “maniacal rambling,” it’s basic anatomy that the vast majority of surgeons don’t understand. They understand the basic concept “move the tongue forward and you will have bigger airway”. They don’t understand that the tongue needs to be attached in a high vertical position in the palate, they don’t understand that the tongue will collaps backwards unless the conditions are right. Right conditions means that it naturally fits inside of the dental arch.

I’ll leave it at that, no need to explain to an individual that can’t comprehend this.

As I’ve said before, I’ll provide an update after my revision surgery. The plan is essentially to reverse things back to their original position. It may not be ideal, braces clearly compromised my teeth but I do know for a fact that my breathing will improve.

I’ve experimented enough with tongue posture and airway mechanics to understand things many surgeons don’t. These are not concepts that are common knowledge within the field. They go far deeper than the superficial recommendations by the YouTuber Jawhacks about approaches like MARPE, FME, or EASE.

A few people know and understand this(Dr Darick Nordstrom and a few dentists).

Fracturing your sutures by a mechanical force to “expand your palate” will have detrimental long term consequences.

Can I ask smth? what happens to tongue posture after djs or osteotemys? I don't think Mewing will do shit for me because im 20 and im recessed in both jaws fairly. my tongue sits on my palette but idk if the psoterior part of it can rise all the way up because i lack forward and vertical growth im recessed. with small mandible as a gift too. do you think a djs is an absolute solution for breathing and tongue posture etc. I also have anterior pelvic tilt and a slight forward head posture.

It largely depends on which movements are performed. Some people experience worsened breathing after bimaxillary advancement, mainly because the geniohyoid muscle is carried along with the jaws during the procedure.

If excessive ccw rotation is applied to the mandible, the geniohyoid is positioned higher. Since the tongue effectively rests on the hyoid bone, this can create a sensation of crowding. As a result, breathing may worsen, and swallowing difficulties or even speech issues can sometimes occur.

Jaw surgery has a significant impact on tongue posture. It is definitely not a standalone solution for breathing problems, as these issues are far more complex than simply having the tongue positioned too far back. Many jaw surgeons are not fully aware of this, which helps explain why sleep apnea is not always completely resolved by surgery and why bimaxillary advancement can sometimes lead to counterproductive outcomes.

A common reason for postoperative dissatisfaction is not an incorrect surgical plan or flawed CBCT analysis, but rather that the tongue no longer rests in an optimal position within the dental arch. Ideally, the tongue should sit naturally inside the arch, applying gentle pressure to the correct areas of the palatal rugae to support proper soft-tissue balance.

At your age, mewing will not cause skeletal changes. However, you may be surprised by how much of a difference correct tongue placement alone can make to overall aesthetics. This includes not only a higher hyoid position and a sharper jawline due to tongue elevation, but also subtle changes such as improved eye canthal tilt and the illusion of more prominent cheekbones.

Your breathing can also significantly approved if you’re able to move your posterior part of your tongue upwards, if not you might need a tongue tie release. That in itself is not guaranteed success but your best option to breathe better.

In my opinion, anterior pelvic tilt is one of your main underlying issues. Treatment should start from the ground up, beginning with your feet. I strongly recommend seeing a PRI-trained therapist to address and correct the tilt.

To better understand the extent and direction of the imbalance, you should perform the Fukuda stepping test to determine exactly which way you deviate.

I'm walking like a Duck I'm trying to fix that with anterior pelvic tilt. For mewing if I cheesy smile suction hold my tongue blocks up the airway severely. Also my normal tongue posture is the same with when i drink a droplet of water cheesysmile and swallow on holding the n spot. So I guess that is mewing. But like I said how can I mew if I lack the oral Cavity? Like I said my tongue is on my palette also when I try to breath through my mouth with my natural tongue posture I can't. My tongue is blocking the mouth so I nose breath. I've heard that also counts as mewing? Maybe it's all skeletal? Like the only way is surgery I think.
