Yea i had bimax with ram myself and thinks he is good, but this dude looks litteraly the same before and after. Typical case where bimax wasnt even needed. And his lower lip is infront of the upper lip jfl

I mean lips will not change, if anything the upper lip is more swollen then the lower so it will look even more class 3. But ortho could possible help a bit but i doubt it as his front teeth is good occlusion and not class 3

Its when you overotate, when you overrotate, ans(nose base) comes back, and with that the upper lip. He could have also created a bigger overbite

He should have done less ccw and less bsso. Maybe he decomped lower jaw to much relative to the upper jaw aswell. Unfortunately many people just wants as much ccw and bsso as possible but they dont think of this risks

I see what you mean now, his lip assessments are all fucked now and he looks like an underbitecel. It looked better to me last night

I think he could have gotten a small improvement if he had gotten less lower jaw movement, because although there isn't a massive improvement, his nose looks more balanced on his face now (although he should still just get a rhino).

It definitely just has to do with ramieris approach of not expanding the maxilla as much, I’ve seen many SFs ramieri cases where the convexity is fucked and the patient ends up looking class 3. Now compare those to Alfaros sfs cases where he’s almost notorious for over expanding. Theres a big difference

Yea he’s definitely one of the more conservative ones, I see a lot of cases that would look better if they were advanced more, ig that’s the price you pay for reliability and consistency

Yea to be fair its the least you can expect from bimax, is to have atleast correct lip assessment. At minimum upper lip infront of the lower.

Retard alert, lip assessment dont depend on swelling you idiot. Most swelling remains at the cheeks and where the cut is. And if anything the upper lip becomes more swollen as the fluid comes down feom the leforte area. This dude just failed and the lip assessment and will allways. Its not the first time with ram either. Its not so big deal but swelling is not playing a part here. Also ram does minimal invasive so swelling is much lower either way. I had and know many who had bimax with him
