After some research and consultations, I'm 100% convinced I'll get bimax, and that it will be either from Ramieri or Alfaro.

My perceived pros and cons:

Alfaro:

  • More advancement
  • Potential for "supportive rhinoplasty"
  • Excellent execution skills
  • Risk of over-advancement
  • Found many complaints about botching (unclear if they are all legit, but at least some of them seem to be)
  • Mediocre planning.
Ramieri:

  • Able to do jaw widening
  • Uses guides, safer
  • Risks of under-advancement
  • AFAIK doesn't do supportive rhinoplasty
  • Seems to be doing fewer bimax cases per year than Alfaro.

Any thoughts? If I had to choose now, I think I'd go with Alfaro because of jaw widening and plates.

alfaro go big or stay home

ramieri shouldn't even be a option with his cuck movements

its either raffaini or alfaro

but ramieri does jaw widening and alfaro doesn't

Alfaro is a mad lad

alfaro is expensive as fuck

but European prices, it's doable. I can't afford an American surgeon but Alfaro should be possible with some saving.

I had a bimax with Ramieri. The idea that he under advances is bullshit as far as im concerned. Look at my plan on the post I did, it went way past the ‘Alfaro line’ but still wasnt over advanced and suited my face perfectly. I wasnt recessed at all, made it clear I wanted a hyper anteface look and he helped me design a plan that delivered it.

Name 1 Ramieri patient who got botched….

Alfaro is one of the worlds best max facs

My advice, consult with both, get both to design a plan for you and then go with your gut instinct

Hey man I am also planning on getting a custom plate bimax with Ramieri this summer. Do you have any issue with your tmj? I’ve heard that’s a potential side effect.

It really depends on the plan, both of them have great and shitty results. Consult them both for a plan then post it here and we can give u advice.

Huh. Lower ones? Do you have any idea why you didn't have to have them removed?
no didnt ask Dr Ramieri to be honest, look where he made the cuts in my plan
