Every point you make is totally valid and high IQ. Seems the only viable, though unrealistic Option, to save the people would be reintroduction of severe caste system, as it seems that largely split on generic value anyway, if implemented in such a way that abo populations are limited in terms of how much voice and social prominence, particularly overseas, they have.
