I’m 14 and I’d like some honest, constructive advice on improving my appearance and taking better care of myself.
I currently have acne. For skincare, I use salicylic acid and azelaic acid, and I also use a moisturizer. I’ve been using azelaic acid for about 9 months, but I still get new post-acne marks before the older ones have fully faded.
I’ve also cut down on sweets because I thought it might help my skin. I train regularly — about 6 times a week — and I do martial arts.
I’d especially like advice on:
- how I can improve my skincare routine and deal with acne/post-acne marks;
- what might actually help with facial puffiness;
- whether there are any healthy habits I should change;
- anything else I can realistically do to improve my overall appearance.
I’m not looking for extreme diets, excessive exercise, or anything unsafe. I’d appreciate practical advice, especially from people who have dealt with similar skin issues.
