Rate my gym split

The reasoning is that you divide after the load, so that every workout is:

1. Fun (all days have something fun, and something related to lower body, this is the way the body is meant to be worked)
2. Balanced (no day is easy nor too hard)

-Back is very hard to hit and needs it's own day basically
-Pecs are a small group and can be coupled with quads
-Triceps is way more important than biceps, but still small, so it gets its own day with shoulders. Hamstring are thrown in for good measure.

Split:

(Every morning ab work)

Day 1 - Back, lower back, glutes (forearms if needed)
Day 2 - Quads, pecs, biceps (neck work if needed)
Day 3 - Hamstrings, triceps, deltoids (calfs if needed)
Start over

About 7-8 exercises per day with 5 sets each. That is the limit of what you can do with good concentration I find.

Maybe I should do more delts.. I do 10-20 sets a week

yes, legs stunt upper body progress badly. When you atop training legs, your upper body lifts will increase dramatically

Muscles need at least 48 hours to recover.
With this split, you train back, then train biceps the day after, but your biceps still haven't recovered.

With that logic you can never do back and bis on the same day bc you need 48 hours after back to train biceps.. however, you can milk a small muscle group more often. Its not like squatting 2 times in a row. Btw its not that exact with the 48 hours just a guideline..

If you are smart with your back exercise, you hit the back correctly with mind muscle connection.. and use minimal biceps.
