it works, but tret and accutane are vastly superior and atp those two are the gold standard along with hydroquinone to achieve clear skin and forget
you don't need to bother with anything else for ur skin as long as you have these 3 on rotation, buy them cheap off Indiamart or whatever
and yeah if u wanna depig maybe add a topical kojic acid but that's optional

layering retinol and acids at the same time ruins ur skin barrier through ph conflict, while skipping a heavy spf in the am guarantees hyperpigmentation spots
