I could give you a tip. From what I saw, people that speak languages with strong consonant emphasis use their vocal chords in such a way that it deepens their voice. Try speaking (by yourself, obviously) with a thick russian accent and see how your voice deepends, try to notice the way your vocal chords flex and try to replicate that without sounding strange.

Languages such as this are Russian or German, see how every russian has a deep voice, or how deep Arnold Schwarzenegger's autrian (almost identical to german) accent.
