im just curious what ratios you can analyze to see if a individual can have hollow cheeks or not. you see personally i was 139lbs at 5,11-6,0 and yet there was no hollowness in my cheeks and i looked bloated, however i legit get hollow cheeks when theres light right above me so i cant determine if its a bone or buccal fat issue

Ur 1 elixir self can get hollow checks if you just work out or even just do cardio

pretty sure you have to check your canine fossa depth, your palate width in conjunction with your cheekbones width, plus your jaw gonions, hollow cheeks aren’t just a given as there are different types with different widths with it being one of the harder things to predict as it’s very hyperdependant on fat pads

how deep your canine fossa is shouldn’t matter, the depth of it just determines what type of hollow cheeks you have

the typical hollow cheek look cannot be achieved with certain depths, as it results in a different look. it looks more like your masseter muscles being defined as compared to your cheekbones, different from the hollow cheek look

Nobody has permanent hollow cheeks, as in, the actual depression in the soft tissue is always there, but the look is heavily influenced by lighting. In terms of bone structure, It's mostly the zygos and canine fossa over anything, I've seen people with no gonions, short lower thirds and even mild recession have hollow cheeks.

Obviously body fat is important, I have a theory that bf% is useless, and total bf relative to height is a more important metric. Take a 6ft model who is around 70kg, they are around 10% bf so they have around 7kg of total fat. Some have hollow cheeks and even if they have average amount of bones. Just a theory though.

is there a way to find out if your zygos are prominent enough for hollow cheeks? i’m overall lean rn and idk my bf% but i have bigger buccal, and malar fat pads as opposed to other people so it’s hard to check for hollow cheeks until i do aqualyx

well how can one check their canine fossa then?

Since the fat distribution on the face typically favours the lower cheeks even at higher bf%, if you can't see the zygomatic arch 'pop' even at higher bf% then your zygos are not prominent enough.

btw even if you look skinny it doesn't mean you're lean, I'm speaking from personal experience, I used to think I was lean cus I was skinny and could see my upper abs, but my overall body fat was higher and I went on 3 month cut and actually hit single digit bf, and dawg the difference in my face was insane, I have a deep canine fossa so I had the different type of hollow cheeks but it looked exponentially better.

I recommend using skinfold callipers with the durnin-womersly formula as well as visual cues (mainly ab veins for sub 10%) to estimate bf% before using aqualyx cus small amounts of facial fat is still a health indicator.

well i personally used to weigh 180 pounds before, and then i lost weight all the way until 140, i’ve gained 15 lbs since then and now walk at 155, but if i lost that much weight then my bf% shouldn’t been low right?

you just need forward projected cheekbones for hollow cheeks

also ts is what my zygos currently look like

no ratio gives hollow cheeks, its determined by how concave that area under the zygos is, whether theyre set high, zygomatic bonemass and projection

lateral projection matters a lot also
not really i have high set and wide zygos and not alot of forward projection and i don’t have anything close to hollow cheeks and i am lean.

i think it just depends on how forward they are because i have seen alot with non exiistrnt zygos but they alot of forward projection so they have hollow cheeks.

have you felt your buccal and malar fat pad region?

Working out debloats your face this is common knowledge
not all facial fat goes away, u can have a good physique and still be bloated, fat distribution problems, where in this case i'd recommend a faft dissolver

Solid bigonial width and lower third height, but cpr is a bit low. Mouth/nose ratio is ok, but could be higher
what the heck is a cpr measurement? i never heard of such thing ever in my life lol, also do you think i have the base for hollow cheeks or nah?

Chin to philtrum ratio; go study the ratio before posting on here. And yes, if you cut to below 12% bf, you will get hollow cheeks

OH my apologies i didn’t know cpr is the acronym for chin to philtrum because i never used anyone use cpr for it. also if you don’t mind me asking how much bf% do you think i have right now because idk i lost a lot of weight (went from 180 to 140) but yet i cant get hollow cheeks

No worries.
Hollow cheeks are the result of high set cheekbones + high bigonial width + low facial fat.
I think you're 15 percent now

if you don’t mind me asking then what are some flaws i should correct because idk there’s something wrong with my face and i just can’t fix it, maybe it’s my skin (pictures doesn’t show it lol), or maybe it’s just some ratio messing it all up

Only flaws are low chin/philtrum ratio, low lower third height and slightly low mouth/nose ratio. Your eye area and midface is pretty solid and i also don't see any issue in your skin

so you think i should get a rhinoplasty, and jaw angle implants. or is the roi not good?

Honestly you can softmaxx and have good results, but if you want to ascend further, intraoral opening wedge bony genioplasty can fix your lower third issues and either rhino or commissuroplasty can increase mouth/nose ratio (consider all of this, only after puberty)
