THAT'S ONE THING. but what im talking about is simply heating it at home enough to kill harmful bacteria... heating just enough doesnt have a drastic effect on the total nutritional value and protein quality does not change, and calcium bioavailability isnt affected. so it's safe to say "there is a slight change" but saying "nutrients/enzymes/probiotics are wasted" would be an exaggeration. some enzymes in milk dont even have a significant physiological role in human protein digestion, they are denatured in stomach acid and broken down by human enzymes in the end anyway. plus raw milk is not a controlled fermentation product like yogurt or kefir, so the risk of consuming pathogenic bacteria along with probiotics shouldnt be ignored
