why am I below triple digits ?
This is the kind of inflammatory posting that works well on forums like these because most users spend time obsessing about looks (which they don't have), but in their warped brains they at least have the fallback of feeling confident in their "intelligence" or perceived high IQ abilities due to being "blackpilled" and seeing the world for how it "really is". You know, because the average normie is just soOooOOOoooo braindead and can't understand deep, axiomatic truths like "Girls like hot guys lol". Then a post like this comes along, and a poster who believes they are high IQ sees a low score and gets angry, which you can see the results of above.

Don't fall for it, Anstrum.

but you have a bigger range than him (hence the +) cause i estimate ur iq is very high but he has had more practical evidence in giga autistic specialities like ethnic theory and anthropology which has impressed me and he is also only 16. from what i seen on this forum he partakes in more autism discussions and so his proven minimum iq is set higher, but like I said the + means i estimate that the user probably has higher but i still have to put the minimum.

Kicking Back Cognitive Ageing: Leg Power Predicts Cognitive Ageing after Ten Years in Older Female Twins

Many observational studies have shown a protective effect of physical activity on cognitive aging
Leg power predicts both cognitive ageing and global brain structure, despite controlling for common genetics and early life environment shared by twins. Interventions targeted to improve leg power in the long term may help reach a universal goal of healthy cognitive ageing.

Strength training can help protect the brain from degeneration

For the first time, an intervention - lifting weights - has been able to slow and even halt degeneration, over a long period, in brain areas particularly vulnerable to Alzheimer's disease.
www.sydney.edu.au
“Our research shows that strength training can protect some hippocampal subregions from degeneration or shrinkage for up to 12-months after the training has stopped,” Dr Broadhouse said.

It's highly unlikely that anyone here's got an IQ of more than 125. I'm not saying the forum's dumb, but it's just extremely rare. Your Russian scientis friend would be much more realistic in making the prediction that 8 users on this sight will become millionaires by winning the lottery.

notice how anywhere in the article is mentioned bodybuilding. Strength training or having strong legs mean = you're not a sedentary slob. Those are different things, strength training can be your grandma twisting a wet tower as a way to strengthen her arms (this is an actual exercise recommend to elders by physicians) or it can be a runner doing his training for his next marathon (they go to the gym, you know?).

no shit, of course being an active person reduces risk of a plethora of health issues. Bodybuilding is something else. You don't need to BB to get these benefits.

And there are plenty of studies out there showing similar results over the most mundane things "eating brocolli can reduce dementia risk" or whatever.

(Actually i wrote this as a joke, but there's actual studies done on that jfl)

I'm all for exercising, I exercise 4 times a week and walk 2km every day. When it comes to bodybuilding tho you have things like this:

you're literally at risk of tearing your main blood vessel by lifting more than half your body weight, not the mention all the other risks of injuries and so on.

wrong wrong wrong
Resistance training (also called strength training or weight training) is the use of resistance to muscular contraction to build strength, anaerobic endurance and size of skeletal muscles.

Bodybuilding is something else. You don't need to BB to get these benefits.
Strength training or resistance training involves the performance of physical exercises that are designed to improve strength and endurance. It is often associated with the lifting of weights. It can also incorporate a variety of training techniques such as calisthenics, isometrics, and plyometrics.

this is like complete nonsense
it never mentions lifting more than half your bodyweight will cause this you retard you pull things out your ass like a retard to support your made up narrative
to suffer from this you need to have family history of it and/or go extremely intense which is not needed to build muscle

I already adressed that in the other thread where I stated that bodybuilding uses weight training for it's purpose but it fails to offer the benefits that actual strength training would provide (strength and resistence) because the kind of input you need to make muscles big doesn't equally translate into resistence and strength, hence why bodybuilders have shitty stamina and can't do much outside the facility (a guy can lift 250 lbs but cries if he tries to move a rock or a heavy tire)

it's literally doing strength training but getting none of it's benefits but bigger muscle size, supposedly for aesthetic reasons. It's a redundant activity with no real goal besides getting bigger.

As for the study I just posted one of the ones cited on the article I had on my original thread, I'll link it later on or you can just look it up your lazy fuck

dude you are like trolling me at this point or just severely retarded
to get size you have to get stronger and ik bigger doesn't always mean stronger but there is a strong correlation
and stamina is more about endurance not strength or moving heavy shit for quick burst then resting
and they do get ALL the benefits of strength training you retard you are literally making shit up the body isn't going to skip out of certain benefits it doesn't know if you are picking up a rock or weight in the gym

for the last time bodybuilders get ALL the benefits of resistance training because lifting weights IS what resistance training is, its the very act of resistance training. The only issue with bodybuilding is the use of steroids and sarms that is what cause all the problems for the community not lifting the weights itself and there is no evidence to suggest what you claimed like what?

Of course there's a correlation, it's just not as strong as you'd expect to be given the size these ogres are. Bodybuilders don't have the strength to do manual labour or do the kind of tasks strongmen are required to, despite looking much bigger and "fit". Neither do they have endurance, you don't have endurance when your heart is fighting to pump blood to your balloon muscles to move an absurd amount of weight whilst also trying to make your breath efficently and not overheat. You don't have endurance when you can't jog properly for more than 2 minutes.

And that's true. Like I said, it only mogs being a slob but that doesn't mean much. These are the "benefits", the same benefits you'd get by jogging everyday or just not being a fucking fatass. Great. The juice is not worth the squeeze.

If you're doing 'strength training' and can't do ANY of those things properly you doing something wrong: you're doing bodybuilding.

I didn't say lifting weights per se is bad, exercising is good, simply there isn't any evidence supporting this notion that all that gymcelling is any better than doing regular exercising like a normal fucking person. If anything it can be detrimental. No, you don't fucking need to hit the gym every single day, you don't need to eat 300g of protein and you definitely don't need to look like a fucking video game character, because you're not MEANT to and trying to do that is fighting nature.

But whatever helps you sleep at night, I'm saying this is waste of time and your SMV or PSL changes will be minimal, as well as your potential health benefits.
