Realistically how much hair growth is possible in a year?

I just want to get the most growth possible so I can style it

what i'd do is calculating, by either ur hair as it is now and the last time ur had ur haircut, or between 2 pics and see how much ur hair grew between 1 to 2, then u will get the pretty much idea how it would be like in a year
