do you know how people get a wider jaw I’ve seen loads of different stuff online and not sure what actually works. Is it just genetics or are there things that actually help?

Mostly genetics + being 10-12% body fat to reveal the bone structure.
Chewing your food more thoroughly.
Check if you have high or low set masseters.
If they're low-set then you could use a basic silicon jaw trainer to hypertrophy your masseters.
Sadly idk HOW to check whether your masseters are high or low set, you'll have to DYOR
While masseter training gives minimal effects, something like jaw filler would help a lot:
