The difference between 5'11 and 6ft is 1 inch (microscopic basically) and between you being 29 or 30 its 1 year (no greater difference than between 24 and 25) YET.... Women obsess over details like this almost psychotically. Its make or break, life or death (sounds insane, right?). WHY?
Its very simple. What if I told you, they think like CHILDREN. Lets give an example:
You got a new shirt. Nice shirt man! What brand is it?
What you say next matters THE MOST: The difference whether if the brand is nike or gucci, offwhite, etc... matters. 6ft, sub30 years old, is the gucci and off-white, 5'11 and 30 years old is the nike. 5'11 & 30 = Android, 6ft & 29 = Brand new Iphone. Doesn't this sound like braindead monkey-like consoooooomer slave thinking? Yeah well, women are CHRONIC BRAINDEAD CONSUMER SLAVES.
And yes that also means they objectify men as if men are their possession, consumer item. Like a dog, or an iphone. Like a WEDDING RING, or wedding photos, or the wedding itself. You're not ALIVE to women unless your face makes them wet, then you're just a vibrator that speaks. You're still a dog on a leash, brutal. And, as a matter of fact, you are that indeed, because the law makes you so, practically your legal status is "a dog on a leash".
"But slight differences like this were only relevant in the middle school and elementary school yard, right?" YES! But also, in the minds of women 24/7. Everything signals status to them through their whole life like its 5th grade, eternally. They are walking grown 5th graders who vote in politics and with their money.
Now the reason for this ISN'T PRACTICAL AT ALL, but its very SIMPLE: intra-female competition. It starts in the school yard and it stays like that forever. You know the saying "bitches always be fighting", well I don't need to write more about this topic as you already know. But thats the purpose that STATUS serves for these women, beyond just listening and obeying authority for survival, status serves as competition between women.
Also if a bunch of women gather online as societal authority to set certain mathematically rare standards for men, then yea, its an open competition between women, and they LITERALLY AGREE TO THE RULES OF THAT COMPETITION
. Like winning a teddy bear at a carnival. Brooooooootal, fertility rates are a joke for them. Fate of your nation? A joke. A humble brag in front of the girlies.
So while yes, hypergamy does have a natural role, and attraction too, for certain traits that ensure survival, theres also certainly an element of what Im describing here, spicing things up. Otherwise, no, women aren't rational at all. This is child-like emotional behavior whose purpose is to signal status, for social media etc and making other women below them jealous

Im guessing you're saying women aren't following through with their hypergamy? I'm not sure if this is the case
