Does it have to do with their bones or are they just retarted?

I think a lot of people end up making it a habit when they have a blocked nose. They don't think it's good nor bad, it just happens to them. Genetically weak immune system creating to much snots I guess...

And others have bone problems, but I think it's a minority, you're mouth breathing because you have snots clogging your nasal walls, you can't breathe properly using your nose so you use your mouth and then you have your bones go shit because of it.

So always inhale and exhale through the nose even when excercising?

From birth babies SHOULD be breastfeed for at least 2 years to develop proper sucking (lol) to develop their palate so they can have space to have their tongue on the roof of their mouth. This allows for sufficient growth of the jaws for wide enough airways. Also, soft diet in the west contributes to the wide underdevelopment of jaws which contribute to narrow airways and problems breathing. Blocked nose is very common with smaller airways (narrow palate's) and then mouthbreathing becames a very detrimental, bad habit.

what does breastfeeding have to do with it? i was breastfed and im a mouth breather. its basically blocked airways, whether that be from deviated septum or allergies or whatever. i understand that people living in flats/apartments are much more likely to get allergies? although the effect of prepubescent/pubescent mouth breathing would be poor facial development and probably constricted airways, making the problem even worse

ah i see. breastfeeding obviously doesnt preclude mouth breathing though

No, but it does aid in the growth of the habit. It's a lot easier to develop nasal breathing problems with a narrow palate than it is without it. Think of it as an indirect precursor that would only amplify the problem later down the line.

nigga i ain’t reading that but being breastfed trains your tongue to rest on the roof of your mouth and ur tongue prob dropped due to allergies which is caused by lack of natural air as a toddler

It's easier to mouth-breathe.

What was your diet like? And the only way to know if you have a narrow palate is to get it examined by an ortho. I didn't even know I had one until I got my teeth cleaned by a friend in training and the practicing dentist came by to check and told me. That's what prompted me to plan out my MSE and Bimax plan.

my top teeth are inside my bottom teeth. plus i have all of these issues, my airways are terrible. im a typical mouthbreather and im planning on mse followed by bimax followed by septorhino (also have deviated septum from boxing ffs) tbh my diet might have been pretty bad for facial development. i think like a lot of fruit and veg, soft foods and pasta, not much hard foods or meat. at least my kids will be better. i have a long midface and im moderately recessed but frankly my face could be a lot worse given the situation

PM me whenever you get a chance.

Mostly because they weren't breastfed and thus didn't learn the correct tongue posture.
I'd say the soft diet argument propagated by Weston A. Price is cope. It has to do with eating processed food (cooking is also a method of processing food) and industrial toxins (pharmaceuticals for example). They cause underdevelopment of the face

I also have a narrow high arched palate, and it sucks balls. When and where are you getting your MSE?

Have not decided yet. I am going to an ortho within the next two weeks to discuss this (and maybe Bimax plans but that's likely for another time). Logically, any ortho can do. You just have to pay to order the components, they assemble and surgically assist by placing it with the micro implant. But if not where I live, I will have to go somewhere else that offers it.

Allergies. Which begs the question if allergies is genetic or not. If allergies are genetic, then you can cope that genetics made you ugly, and not the environment

Allergies for me

Yes, sometimes ‘long face’ or adenoid facial structure can force them to mouth breathe as their airways are under developed

most of the time it’s just a bad habit or due to allergies, nasal obstruction etc
