Just had an advanced revision otoplasty this morning:
- Reduction of projection through conchal bowl reduction and anti-helix fold defining
- Reduction and reshaping of the top half of the ear through a scaphal reduction
- Removal of Darwin's Tubercle along the outer ear rim for a more even edge of the ear.
Overall I requested a smaller, more aesthetic ear that was closer to the side of the head.
Will post before/afters soon when the head band comes off.
Note: This is a fairly simply procedure that is done under local anaesthetic but god damn it hurts, even after I took oxycodone for the pain. Hurts hell of a lot more than Eppley facial implants.
