Sometime ago @irrumator praetor claimed to have found deep bite cure in his post and @mvp2v1 decided to do this while both have not given any update on the situation.

There is no "cure" besides orthodontics and braces.

I have been lurking here since forever bhai aren't you getting surgery for that?

Indeed I am, I'm getting bimax. My face height gets reduced by half when I bite down. They had to put bite blocks on my teeth, so I don't slam down on the braces.

Surgeon even said I'm gonna nuke my tmj at an early age if I don't get that resolved.

Again, the only treatment is orthodontics and/or surgery.
What do you want to know? I have a deep bite.

It's a meme, you cannot fix bite issues without orthodontics.

The issue is when people start getting camouflage orthodontics when they should've gotten surgery.

alr so basically it just normalized my TMJ and I can chew hard gum now and get bone+masseter gains. Better than nothing. Mewing is more normal now. Sleep is weird and I have to relapse to the fully bitten position or I can't sleep.

Did it move your undererupted molars (presumably you have this) even an .mm down? BTW thanks for updating looks like you took a long break from forum. Also were you chewing in your deep bite position or overdosing on gum to chew?

THIS, orthodontics only solve "the problem", by camouflaging, but they don't fix the root problem, which is recession. The only true cure is surgery

I don't think I got any jaw/teeth change, only the TMJ change. I think if any change were to occur, it would be through possible mewing gains and chewing, if mewing is enabled due to the relaxed jaw position anyway.

Notice I said "relaxed" that means only drop the lower jaw so the front upper and lower teeth meet normally, lower behind the upper. I gradually stopped jutting as it kept causing my TMJ to click without resolve. This didn't bring any permanent change however, as the main change is actually the different teeth position and the forces in the jaw it changes. That is, the teeth, and thus, the jaws, are no longer going inside eachother, giving this painful compressive feeling inside the jaw itself, which inevitably changes your face to the typical old boomer deep bite facial look. My TMJ thereafter stopped clicking (after i stopped jutting), I was able to chew harder stuff without clicking AND random everyday jaw clicking stopped caused by jutting (So no jutting and just relaxing the lower jaw so the molars don't meet but the front teeth do).

Now as for under erupted molars, Idk if you're talking about the upper or the lower molars. My upper molars are normal I would presume, and my lower ones are kinda hugging the gums on the inside of the jaw, which kinda hurts my tongue when in the resting position (lower jaw is technically encompassed by my upper jaw due to deepbite). The lower molars kinda lean on the inside of the jaw rather than standing straight like the upper ones. I have no idea why that is but it seems popular with deepbites. Perhaps this is the under eruption you're talking about? The upper molars are yet to drop down and meet the lower molars (to make the bite normal).

As for chewing: no matter what, you will relapse to the deepbite position. Your molars can hardly chew otherwise. When eating normal food, this will happen too.

Anyway, I started chewing the hard gum Brett Maverick sells on his site, it isn't that hard and I think im noticing masseter gains (it hasn't been a month though). Also, imbalanced chewing causes clicking despite all of this, so if only one side of the jaw is chewing something harder than it casually can on it's own, it's definitely going to click. So you need to balance that and get the jaw stronger. Soon might get real mastic gum, where the real deal starts.

yeah, a jaw corrective surgery, which isn't even considered an aesthetic surgery, but is considered a health related surgery

Orthodontics masks it, so when it comes to solving the problem the real way (surgery) you end up having to undo the orthodontic changes. Your maxilla remains in a weird position, etc

Aesthetically, masking makes no difference, other than the normal smile. On the inside, it might feel better. Mewing gains may or may not be possible after the masking procedure. Orthodontists don't really crack down on the problem, they only want to make money.

So after all, it seems my solution is only a half solution, a measure that you can take until getting double jaw surgery. It's still better than orthodontics and the natural deep resting bite. Natural change may occur perhaps, but I don't count on it (tbf my posture is pretty trash and it hasn't even been a year, tbf even a year is a short time, so I can't really speak on natural change anyway. It may as well happen to a consistent, healthy individual).

This is just my speculation but the lower jaw teeth being legally tipped could be due to cheek sucking as a child. BTW thanks for such a detailed review it helped a lot thanks again.

Also check this out, as deep bite causes condyle to ram in tmj causing damage this is pretty good solution.

Also one more question, what would say is the distance ofc approx. Between upper and lower teeth in jutting position?

Wow, nice research. Np. So you're asking what the distance is between the upper and lower teeth while jutting? I assume, between molars? Still enough for the tip of my tongue to go through.

I was about to add, shortly after posting the messages, I remembered Mike Mew offered some sort of solution for adults with deepbite. Then I remembered there is a rather close orthotropist here in Europe in Romania. I've calculated that the cost of the initial visit and creating a model for treatment is cheap, thus will simply maintain this relaxed jaw position until I set everything up to go there to Romania and eventually (hopefully) get treated. I think it would be way cheaper than a double jaw surgery, also doesn't leave any nuts and bolts inside your fleshy insides, or plastic
