Rejected for marpe

So my dentist said to me that i probably don’t need marpe but that i probably will need braces (Damon) and said that the Damon braces will expand my maxilla is that bs?
Also is it bad to extract wisdom teeth and premolars? cause I’m not sure if I should do that.

tbh i don’t have trouble breathing through my nose but i my tongue doesn’t fit in my palate and it’s uncomfortable that should be enough to be eligible for marpe right?
Also I do want it for facial aesthetics ngl
