Relentless PIE + accutane

Hello, I've been on Accutane for about eight months, half of which being 20mg and half being 10. Recently, I've started 30mg since I've been breaking out. And to be honest, I probably will be on Accutane for another three or four months. Now, half of my face is crazy with PIE. All I'm asking is, how long do you guys think I'll have PIE for in the worst case scenario? Because I've seen a lot of people say it doesn't go away, it does go away over six months. Dermatologists have said that, and I've been to three and they've all said different things. So I'm asking here. I also want to know some methods of getting rid of it, because all the dermatologists I've seen have all said azelaic acid does not help, and pretty much all topicals are cope.

I had severe acne around late 2024, and I still have minor PIE from it.

Shit takes ages and is a bitch to clear so don't just sit and wait.

Start using a retinoid like taz and also azelaic acid- I've recently added this in and have seen results.
