Religious followers mainly fall into 2 categories
1. The ones who are annoying about it and make it a huge part of life, often pushing it down other people's throats. People who are too illiterate to glean meaning from their texts
2. The people who have internalised God's words and understood what he means in his Commandments
The vast majority of people including religious leaders fall into number 1. Number 1 is filled to the brim with people who justify their hedonism by invoking God. They didnt become pious, rather they used their faith as an excuse to give in to worldly pleasures even more. These are your average cuck normies who believe anything that they read or listen. They simply are not self aware amd closer to a chimpanzee than a high functioning human. They are slave to their desires and fit their morals so as to not stop them from fulfilling these desires.
It is only a very small percentage of believers who actually understand how the material world is described in the tenets of religion. They are willing to sacrifice a lot since they have understood how valuable the truth is, how valuable it is to escape this material world. This is only through God, hence they their life in God never seeking glory or adulation for their faith in contrast to the normie sheep.
I would say that 99.99% of so called religious people in this forum never understood their religion at all. Heck, they are too stupid to even follow the most basic commandments of God. Despite having no God to fear, I understand this material world much better than these LARPers. JFL at saying I am muh religious, no you are just a sheep, now go follow the herd as you were meant to
