Organized religions like chrisitianity and islam are so obviously human made to me and i have no idea how people somehow believe in them. Even the concept of religious gods is just retarded to me. A god created the entire universe and reality as a whole and we're somehow the main characters of it all? And its so self centered to me. To think that a God, a creator of the universe, made HUMANS specifically in his image, has human emotions (love, wrath), and is constantly communicating with humans, is absurdly self centered, and totally something that humans would come up with. We give ourselves so much importance. Some of these religions constantly contradict themselves, They claim that their god has no unrealized potential, is self sufficient, and unmoved yet he somehow creates biases depending on our love and belief for him which just means that he is not impassable and is indeed moved by our thoughts and views of him. All these religions use these obviously man made concepts like "God wants our worship cause he created us" ; These religions always link entitled human thoughts and rations onto tri-omni unmovable gods, They almost make god seem like a random man with regular human thoughts and emotions and it just doesnt make sense to me how people still fall for this shit. We can certainly say that the biblical god has emotions throughout the entire book. God has been angry, wrathful, jealous, loving, and so on. We know that those words correlate to the state of god at that time, because he does what we do when we’re angry (smash stuff, inflict harm on others), loving (care for, nourish), and so on. The concept of a god isnt even unrealistic but religion makes it obviously fake and human made, My vision of a god would be a being completely detached, unemotional and indifferent of human thoughts and beliefs.

At first it seemed kinda stupid to me but i kept forcing myself to believe and then later on i saw others who shared the same thoughts as me which is what made me stop believing all together

Yeah I was saying on another thread the concept of heaven and hell is nonsensical. This is because of the roles on how sin and repentance take place like sinning is in our human nature, according to the abrahamic religions this causes spiritual death and earns us a spot in hell (assuming that hell exists.) But repentance is turning your heart in the right direction from sin, although sin is inevitable.

i assume when it comes your parents you still “pretend” that you pray and if they go on pilgrimage you go with them like nothing has altered right?

The entire concept of hell pretty much subverts the idea of an all loving god. Thats why so many branches of christianity try to get rid of it and others just make it really vague and attempt to shift the blame onto humans to save the image of an all loving god and to make you feel like you're imperfect and at fault instead. The second one works really well, You still fear the idea of eternal hell fire which pushes you to worship and praise god out of fear but you cant call the god evil because it never directly says you will face eternal hell fire or it speaks in metaphors and riddles that should or shouldnt be taken literally depending on whichever one is convenient at the moment.

Yes and no
I still present as Muslim to them but i don’t act religious that hard, they’ve noticed i stopped praying almost entirely. i’m sure they’re smart enough to figure out i’ve apostatized, atleast my mother is, but they’re not strict parents so they don’t care enough for it to be a problem as long as i keep the haram stuff out of their sight

Yeah you’re exactly right people blame the creation of hell on us, instead of putting the fault at God for allowing hell to be created and shift the image on us for our imperfections. People worship God driven by “love” and “compassion” but we both know it’s the general fear of burning for eternity like you said but I personally believe if God wants to banish us to hell, he’d tell us directly to our faces and instantly send our souls there.
