Request for a Moderator for the Turkish Subforum

First of all, this is absolutely not a reaction thread. You have always been there for us, and we thank you. This is simply a request and information thread.

As the Turkish sub-forum, we have been dealing with serious moderation shortages and issues for a long time. We are very happy with the services provided by the admins so far, and we know you are always by our side. Thanks again for everything.

However, the sub-forum’s moderation has been insufficient for a long time. Especially the series of events in the last few days (like the recent mass spam) reminded us once again how important it is to increase moderation in the Turkish sub-forum.

For this reason, we decided to come together to respectfully express ourselves and pass on our request to upper management for a new moderator to be assigned to the Turkish sub-forum. I consider myself the best candidate. However, if anyone else wants to be a candidate, they can indicate this in the comments below this thread. The thread will remain completely unbiased.

Türkçe alt forum olarak, uzun süredir ciddi moderasyon eksiklikleri ve sorunlarıyla karşı karşıyayız. Şimdiye kadar yöneticiler tarafından sağlanan hizmetlerden çok memnunuz ve her zaman yanımızda olduğunuzu biliyoruz. Her şey için tekrar teşekkürler.

Ancak, alt forumun moderasyonu uzun süredir yetersiz kalmıştır. Özellikle son birkaç gündeki olaylar (son zamanlardaki toplu spam gibi) Türkçe alt forumda moderasyonun artırılmasının ne kadar önemli olduğunu bize bir kez daha hatırlattı.

Bu nedenle, saygılı bir şekilde kendimizi ifade etmek ve Türkçe alt foruma yeni bir moderatör atanması talebimizi üst yönetime iletmek için bir araya gelmeye karar verdik. Ben kendimi en iyi aday olarak görüyorum. Fakat aranızda aday olmak isteyen varsa bu thread'ın altında belirtebilirler. Tamamen tarafsız olacağız.

Besides that when we take into account that Turkish Sub-forum is the most used language sub-forum and it contributes to the forum's reputation, a moderation staff signed to our sub-forum from our own sub-forum is a must.

There are even people from sub-forum who wants to buy a lifetime vip but can't because of dox threads and possibility of deleting their own account. I %100 believe that a moderator assigned to the sub-forum would financially contribute to the forum too. (I could give an example from myself, I've been deleting my aaccount because of dox threads yet I was always seeking to get a lifetime vip but I could never, I think whole sub-forum can satisfy after @Resistance. gets assigned as our sub-forums mod.)

Throughout the past years, our subforum has repeatedly dealt with doxxing attempts, spam waves, and coordinated harassment.
These events show that our subforum requires more focused and immediate moderation. Expecting global moderators to handle everything is not always practical. Having a dedicated moderator from within our own community — someone who understands the culture, members, and ongoing issues — would make a significant difference.
