Big brother sent me this to keep me away from retatrutide (yes ik its chatgpt and no im not 15 im 16 turning 17 he just typed it in wrong in the prompt)

(scroll all the way down)

Retatrutide is a very powerful, experimental weight-loss medication that affects several hormone systems at the same time. It acts on GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors, which regulate appetite, blood sugar, fat burning, and energy use. In studies on adults, people have lost extremely large amounts of weight.
For a healthy 15-year-old boy, the body is still going through puberty and development, so the effects may become more complicated than in adults.
Here is a detailed explanation of what can happen in the body:
  • Strong appetite suppression
Retatrutide makes the brain feel full much faster. Many people lose interest in food almost completely. In a teenager, this can become problematic because the body actually needs a lot of energy for:
    • height growth
    • hormone production
    • muscle development
    • brain development
    • puberty
  • Rapid weight loss
The body begins using stored energy very aggressively. At first, people lose:
    • water
    • glycogen
    • then fat
    • but also muscle mass if the body gets too little nutrition
    • In adolescents, weight loss that happens too quickly may affect normal growth and physical development.
  • Muscle and strength loss
Even though people think these medications only “melt fat,” many also lose muscle mass. If a 15-year-old trains or is still growing, the body may begin breaking down muscle because food intake becomes too low.
  • Effects on puberty and hormones
During puberty, the body is already working hard with:
    • testosterone
    • growth hormone
    • insulin
    • metabolic hormones
    • Retatrutide indirectly changes several of these systems. There is almost no long-term data on how this affects developing teenagers.
  • The digestive system slows down
GLP-1-like medications cause the stomach to empty more slowly. Because of this, many people experience:
    • nausea
    • vomiting
    • diarrhea
    • constipation
    • acid reflux
    • stomach pain
    • These side effects are very common in studies.
  • Blood sugar and energy levels change
Retatrutide affects insulin and how the body uses sugar and fat for fuel. A teenager may feel:
    • dizziness
    • low energy
    • weakness
    • poorer workout performance
    • concentration problems
  • Heart and pulse effects
Studies showed increased heart rate in adults.
In young people who train hard or play sports, this could potentially affect endurance and strain on the body.
  • Risk of nutrient deficiencies
When appetite becomes extremely low, the body may not get enough:
    • protein
    • iron
    • calcium
    • vitamins
    • healthy fats
    • This is especially important while the skeleton and muscles are still developing.
  • Psychological effects
Some people become very focused on:
    • low body fat percentage
    • body weight
    • food control
    • having the “perfect physique”
    • In teenagers, this can develop into unhealthy relationships with food and body image.
  • Unknown long-term effects
Most importantly: Retatrutide is still under research and has mainly been tested in adults with obesity.
It is not yet known for sure:
    • how it affects teenage brains
    • puberty
    • fertility
    • growth
    • hormone balance over many years
Therefore, these kinds of medications are usually not recommended for healthy teenagers who simply want to become leaner or more defined.

He is claiming this as evidence to not use retatrutide. Now i am not educated enough in this topic i would not inject myself with reta without any research so i wanna know how many people are for or against it with pros and cons. And also if chatgpt is spitting bullshit:forcedsmile:

Read botb look at posts about reta and base your opinion on that

Then yes reta is "safe" the side effects are real but so are the side effects for literally and other drug or hormone invented
he got gall stones from ozempic so hes forcing me not to use it. Any arguments i could make back? lmao:lul:

its safe. the only real side effect thats very real is it can blunt your emotion and make you feel like a robot....and skin sensitivity which is also constant torture. im suffering from the robot side effect and its pretty ass the rest of the dangers is cope.

provide reasons why he thinks whatever chatgpt says is right i want u to kind of prove against chatgpts arguments if possible
why the fuck would be provide reasons to support your brother?

we dont give a fuck

take reta or dont, simple as that

gallstones are a side effect of rapid weight loss in general.

When you lose weight very quickly, the liver secretes more cholesterol into bile, which can form stones
