I started Tretinoin 2x a week for 15 days, then increased to daily for 15 days.
After that I realized my skin barrier was damaged, so I reduced it to 2–3x a week for about 2 months instead of stopping completely.
Then I stopped all retinoids for 7 days and used Tazarotene once. It’s now been 21 days and my skin feels normal again.
I have a few questions:
What’s the best way to restart a retinoid after irritation/barrier damage?
Can I combine dermastamping with a retinoid?
How do I avoid getting dull/pale-looking skin while using retinoids?

Wdym skin barrier got damaged? Im assuming u mean u were peeling extc which is part of the process and from my experience after 3-4months it almost goes away, and yes u can derma stamp while on retinoids but u have to be on it for a year at least then u can start derma stamping, use good brand of tanning drops/self tanner(idk a good brand so u will have to find one urself) lmk if u have other questions about tret, if this was helpful mark it as solution by clicking the checkmark
