Im 14 and grew up mainly mouth breathing so i have all sorts of recessions and downward growth and my chin is pretty damn recessed. Is it possible to trigger ccw rotation in the midface before its too late or acheive noticable forward growth without surgery like a sliding genioplasty?

really basic hardmax, but braces with bands are a good option, if u really have the money try a genioplastly or an osteotomy

sometimes, but if ur bonemass is already good enough and ur mandible is just recessed but not round, braces could work, there is also a procedure where they only put the bracket on a few teeth to connect bands, helping with recession

im too early into puberty for a good bone mass lol i wanna try waiting for a bit and see if consistent mewing and posture helps

There’s a big risk factor with braces if you get your bite camouflaged then insurance won’t cover jaw surgery if it’s still bad enough in the future
