Was gonna get mse two years ago
Thinking now, as i live in the UK and its hard to get to a mse clinic (mew only one and already visited him, he’s difficult) I might just do surgically assisted rme.

Just to confirm, even though it’s surgically assisted it would still be tooth borne right as they're just splitting the suture and theres no screws?

So would that also mean facepulling during treatment wouldnt be possible due to no screws on maxilla so it would just be teeth displaced?

I think now after coping with my occlusion for so long Im just gonna do it because id rather have good teeth and a wider palette than having to deal with what I currently have.

I just dont know what theyre going to do with the lower jaw, as they are a traditional orthodontic clinic doing this treatment. Ill ask them all this stuff.

Any help would be appreciated, its been a long time since ive been on here and ive forgotten a lot of things tbh

There is 1 provider in Ireland, none in UK. Interestingly, Won Moon's site doesn't list Mike as a certified provider, i wouldn't go with him lol.

You mean you are going to get SARME or are they also gonna do a parallel cut on the maxilla?

yes sarme
Then yes it would be expand the bone as they are opening the midpalatal suture surgically, but face pulling won't work, protraction doesn't have to do anything with surgically opened midpalatal suture and also after sarme they are going to give you a regular palatal expander so it will be teeth borne, not bone borne
