That’s indeed very close. Do you have a relatively narrow face?

Mine tend to look close set but my IPD is actually around 65-67mm.
My wide temples and broad zygomatic structure give the illusion of a lower IPD.

I have a normal-width palate and a recessed maxilla (class 3 malocclusion). East Asians with recessed maxillas usually don’t have narrow palates like Caucasians do.

Insurance doesn’t always let you get it the way you want. I want to pick my surgeon and get my maxilla moved in a specific way that aligns with my aesthetic goals. I want implants done with it too. Insurance might cover only a “standard procedural bimax” if you know what I mean.

You still need Bimax though anyway so can't you just talk with your surgeon about how you specifically want it done? But yeah you'll have to pay for implants but they will probably cost less than trying to get it with everything els2
