Would this be an effective way to combat hairloss? I am currently running 0.5 mg Dutasteride but am curious if coming off it and just running RU would make any difference?

Well the only way to increase absorption is to dermaroll but this is not safe with RU

it is speculated that frontal scalp is sensitive to dht and testosterone. Can explain why i experienced full regrowth over there.
But crown is pure dht area an on ru i didnt experience regrow there. only With added dermarolling it finally started to also regrow.

in terms of dht fin/dut> ru although in hair density studies ru>>>>fin. So eventually its going to depend on your receptor sensitivity. If your hair loss is mild/moderate- ru prolly is gonna nuff. If its hardcore speed- you gonna need both ru and fin/dut

this is obvious
RU has more affinity for AR than test , but DHT has more affinity to AR than RU
which means RU will only work if your balding is due to test
crown balding is also due to estrogen(explains why older men are bald even with lower levels of T/DHT)

Any proof that DHT has more binding affinity than ru

I read it in a pubmed article on RU
just google it , its well known
Do steroids like Anavar cause a spike in scalp dht? Is dht active on the scalp?

I have no idea about this
Is dht active on the scalp?
there are 2 types of DHT
1.scalp DHT - produced by hair follicles/skin on the scalp
2.serum DHT - produced by prostate and liver

serum DHT is the bigger culprit for hairloss, which is reduced by oral fin
topical fin can't reduce it,so its cope

The binding affinity alone is not the absolute way to determine if its effective against another hormone or not.
Concentration is also important too, hence thats why ru58841 still works despite having a binding affinity lower than DHT.
