The only ones I can think of who have done more then russians historically are north germans, dutch, and the english. The Nordics are only just gl, after the Vikings the Nordics have done fuck all and even then there was slavic Vikings (wends). South germans are lowkey just like south French. Also the russians are closely related to north germans (closer then any southern slavic group(same goes for russians and swedes)).
