I no longer give a duck about living past 50 I'm going to do harmful things in the name of ascension, there is no point living if I can't be attractive. Do you agree with this worldview

I agree completely. If you don't do everything in your power to ascend, you're a rotting, ambitionless volcel.

This is of course assuming you have a salvageable base.
