Has anyone had saddled infraorbital implants? I’m trying to understand what incision people went with and how it affected things.

Did you go through the lower eyelid or intraoral? Any complications?

Also curious if anyone who had a lower eyelid incision noticed changes to their eye like retraction, scleral show, or just a different look to the lower lid.

yea it makes people look atleast 6+ years older, i wish i never did any implants at all, ruined my life

he's 100% serious , he schizo when he says they are worth to feel good with him self. Never get implants also you'll get implant show basically all the time because people who get them always have thin skin in first place otherwise your infras wouldn't be recessed

I'm not gonna feed this unhealthy mindset. If the only way for you to change your mind on something is me showing you an alternative, there is something wrong in the way you think. I've given rational reasons for why surgery, implants or injections are bad. There are 2 threads about it in my posting. The first thing you need to change if you wanna improve is your thinking. Most of the people in this community are emotional. This whole philosophy is about "objectivity" but the reality is you guys are not rational in the way you approach things.

Bone erosion is multifactorial, no material dependent alone.

There's no strong skeletal muscle like the masseter in that area. The implants are custom and fit the bones like a glove.

There's zero concern of bone resorption.

Yeah plus screw fixation which is the most important thing, I mean a double screwed off the shelf implant will probably cause less resorption than a custom one that's unscrewed.

The other thing is that people confuse bone erosion with remodeling, some remodeling is guaranteed but it doesn't mean the bone is eroding back in a significant or concerning way.
