Doesn't surprise me. Training volume is the most overrated concept in gymcelling.

As long as you hit every muscle 2x week, train close to failure, and progressively overload, you honestly don't need to be in the gym more than 3-4 days/week.

I would also confidently say that lifting 6x week, and push pull leg routines hinder the vast majority of people's results

why does he have Push 1 and Push 2 can we just use the same push routine through the week? Also I have been going to gym for the past two months and honestly I dont have like a proper written routine I just follow a PPL split 6 days a week and do the exercises I feel like doing like on push day I will sometimes do Flat bb benchpress somedays Incline or db press instead you get what I mean. Is this stupid or should I make a proper workout routine for myself I haven’t done that yet because I am too lazy for it also not very confident about the routine I will make

Yes. You can absolutely do the same push workout twice a week/not alternate exercises.

Look up Ryan Jewers, Elijah Mundy, Paul Carter, TNF, and Devvlifts for workout routine advice.

A simplified summary of how their workouts are set up:

1. Upper, Lower, off, Upper, Lower, off, off

2. 4-6 Rep Range

3. 0-1 RIR (train to failure, or leave 1 rep in the tank)

4. 1-2 Sets/Muscle/Workout

5. Progressive Overload: Add weight or reps as frequently as you can without comprimising form

Example Upper Lower:

UPPER
Smith Flat Bench 2x4-6
Smith Widegrip Shoulder Press 2x4-6
Latpulldown or Neutralgrip Row 2x4-6
Widegrip Row 2x4-6
Tricep Pushdown 2x4-6
Preacher Curl 2x4-6

LOWER
Legpress 1x4-6
Legextension 1x4-6
Legcurl 1x4-6
45hyperextension 1x4-6
Calfraise 2x4-6
Cablecrunch 2x4-6
