Sarpe/Bimax premolar extraction.

Recently had my first surgery in my orthognatic journey (3 weeks post OP from SARPE). What they did was remove 2 premolars on the mandible, lower 2 wisdom teeth (planning to extract the remaining 2 next year with the bimax) and ofc the sarpe itself. I was wondering if premolar extractions — and in this case on the mandible — will have any affect on botching me since im getting a bimax either way. Thanks!

genuinely too much crowding on the lower jaw. was the only option he said

I'd say just see how it goes, every case is different and not everyone will suffer bone resorption from an extraction (although im not sure because im not very knowledgeable, so dont take my word for gospel)

Well since its combined with a bimax it would not really have any affect or so i thought. Went to different surgeons asked the same questions and they found it justified in my case. Best clinic in my country aswell so i don’t think hes trying to botch me m8.
