i was on vacation and went to the sauna for 6 days in a row

only stayed in the sauna for like 6-7 minutes on average

acne has completely fucked off, and my skin is glowing

saunamaxxing is real

it doesn't work for me

explanation?

something that also helps for me is using a face cleanser right after it

the sauna helps open up your pores, and then you cleanse the dirty shit off

it doesn't work for me

explanation?
The occurrence of acne can be attributed to various factors.

One of which involves hormonal fluctuations.

Hormones play a pivotal role in regulating the skin's sebum production, a natural oil that can contribute to acne when produced excessively.

Additionally diet also has a significant impact on skin health. Consuming foods with a high glycemic index which cause rapid spikes in blood sugar levels can trigger the release of insulin.

Elevated insulin levels are thought to stimulate oil production and inflammation in the skin further exacerbating acne related issues.

Therefore both hormonal imbalances and the consumption of high glycemic index foods can contribute to the development or exacerbation of acne.
To promote healthier skin and mitigate the risk of acne it's advisable to steer clear of certain dietary choices.

These include avoiding dairy products as they can potentially influence hormonal fluctuations that contribute to acne

Likewise it's beneficial to limit the consumption of sugary treats and high carb foods such as pasta, rice, and bread.

These foods tend to have a high glycemic index causing rapid spikes in blood sugar levels.

Elevated blood sugar can trigger an insulin respons, potentially leading to increased oil production and inflammation both of which are associated with acne development.
