Scared of botched Bimax

I´m on the path to get a Bimax covered by German insurance. How likely are you to get botched and how do i minimize the likelyhood? Where should i go are there any notable surgeons in Europe that guarantee i won´t come out botched and i will look better?

If you’re this unsure you probably wont benefit much from a bimax. Go to france and be a guinea pig for us

you need to understand how bimax works, what movements you need. If you go in blind with an insurance doctor, chances are they will just advance you forward at a steep angle with no ccw and it will look bad.

You most likely will not get botched, just make sure you have enough knowledge to understand what you need and let the ortho / surgeon know about your preferences

You can minimise it by going to a good surgeon.

But at the end of the day there will always be a chance of botch and you have to just accept that.
