Scars & Treatment

I have acne scars and icepick scars (maybe other types of scar) as shown in pics.

I don't know what is happening with the furrow between my brows.

I tried the dermatologist here and they shrugged their shoulders.

Please recommend treatment advice. I am interested to know if anybody else has had this and managed to clear it up.

Have you tried them yourself? I have considered that though I'm skeptical of their effectiveness in comparison to laser or dermapen.

Never did and I think laser is more powerful. I will do tca peels in the future tho

My recommendation would be to either find a damn good esthetician in your area and see what they recommend or go to a different dermatologist (honestly I'd say go to a different derm anyways- if they're shrugging their shoulders at something as common as acne scarring, it doesn't instil much confidence)

And microneedling, have done one treatment and I recommend it. If you do these two you should get rid of the scars.

Could you tell me if they used chemicals in your treatment aside from the numbing cream?

Yes they did some kind of peel but I don't remember exactly what it was, Think it was BHA/PHA. The treatment cost like $200 for the whole face and neck and the peel was included.

Might get TCA after I have done like 5 microneedling sessions.

I did the CO2 laser. It barely touched my scars. Some people are saying the derminator 2 is good.
